The surroundings of Røsnæs Strandhotel
During our Danish Adventure, we stayed at Røsnæs Strandhotel, also called Zleep Hotel Kalundborg, which was truly a beautiful and peaceful experience. The hotel is located just outside Kalundborg in the most beautiful Danish surroundings. Hills upon hills of oat fields and wine stocks going all the way down to the waterside. This is a place that truly inspires you to be outside and experience nature. Røsnæs Strandhotel also has several brochures with ideas to how you can be active. The beautiful interior design
The hotel’s interior and exterior is really tastefully made with furniture of modern Danish design, freshly cut flowers, and super bright common rooms. The whole place has this super beachy vibe, which kind of reminds us of the sunny and breezy Danish Riviera. The interior is created so the hotel has many small cozy sitting and lounge areas all around the hotel! It is so clear that the owners of the hotel have gone out of their way to make this place a luxurious beach escape. We believe they have had great success with this!
The facilities at the hotel
The hotel has a really good breakfast with several organic, vegan, glutenfree and lactose-free options, which is a huuuuge plus in our book! Furthermore, they have both inside and outside seating, so if the weather is good you can sit outside and enjoy your breakfast. The hotel lies on the waterside, and they have their own jetty, so it’s easy and convenient to take a quick dip! The hotel rooms are bright, beautifully decorated and has some amazing beds that will guarantee you a great sleep! The shampoo and soap at the hotel are eco-friendly and made in Scandinavia. One of our favorite things about this hotel is, that it is so quiet and peaceful. They also have a huge parking lot, and it is possible to charge your electric car. Just beside the hotel lies Restaurant Næs, which serves high quality modern and organic Danish gourmet food. And we will definitely recommend you to try this restaurant! The food is SO yummy!
