During our Danish Adventure, we stayed one night in a glamping tent at Svendborg Sund Camping after some amazing days on Møn. We had the best experience at Glamping Svendborg Sund. We would definitely recommend you to stay here for a couple of nights if you ever come to Svendborg.
The atmosphere
The atmosphere at Svendborg Sund Camping is so peaceful and lively at the same time. The camping site lies next to the waterside, so there is a beautiful view of Svendborg Sund. There are children playing around, and families barbecuing in the small corners of the camping site. In fact, there is a small rabbit petting zoo just next to the glamping tent, with so many cute rabbits. Small kids were petting the rabbits and truly enjoying themselves. We also saw a big group of different people and families gathering together after dinner time to play games together on a big grassy area next to the water. It was truly a fun, playful and cozy atmosphere at the camping site.
The glamping tent
We stayed in the biggest of the glamping tents. It could easily fit four grownups, and it had its own terrace with a view of Svendborg Sund. The beds were super comfy, and there was a fridge, a water heater, lamps, lounge chairs, and electricity. Furthermore, the tent had its own barbecue, and dining area outside on the terrace, which we used. It was super easy and quick to make food on since it was a gas barbecue. Staying in the glamping tent was such a cozy, romantic and comfortable experience, and we know other couples would love it!
The facilities
The facilities at the camping site were extraordinary. Super clean toilet facilities and nice gender divided showers with locks on the doors to respect one another’s privacy. There is a big playground for the kids, several kitchens, inside dining areas, outside dining areas and barbecues. In the reception, you can check-in and meet Maria, who is the boss of the camping site. Here you can also buy a few groceries and order bread from the bakery to the next morning. Just beside the camping site, you can also find a watersport activity and rental shop.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the camping site and the glamping tent, and we will definitely do it again if on our next adventure to Svendborg. We hope you liked this recommendation. If you ever visit this unique spot, please let us know! We would love to hear about your experience.
