About Bymose Hegn Hotel
Bymose Hegn Hotel and Conference Center is surrounded by beautiful and peaceful surroundings not far from The Danish Rivera.
This place is the perfect location for big events such as conferences or weddings but also great for a weekend getaway!
The old white building is the old original Bymose Gård which used to be an apple orchard. The goal is to bring back the apple orchard to Bymose Hegn by the end of 2019.

A Green Key stands for the promise to its guests that by opting to stay with the Green Key establishment, they are helping to make a difference on an environmental level. The high environmental standards expected of these establishments are maintained through rigorous documentation and frequent audits. Green Key is eligible for hotels, hostels, small accommodations, campsites, holiday parks, conference centers, restaurants, and attractions.
Rooms
Bymose Hegn has 113 rooms with great space and basic inventory.
Our double room was light and had a great comfy double bed.
Bymose Hegn is not a luxury hotel, but the service of this place is incredible. The moment you walk into the reception you feel at home – that´s also the feeling you get by entering your room.
Food
Bymose Hegn is run by Søren Lassen Bartlmä, who is the Managing Director and Head Chief. He started working at Bymose Hegn in the beginning of 2019 and has great visions on how to make Bymose Hegn an even more eco-friendly accommodation.
He served us the most incredible meal made of organic vegetables and fresh groceries.
If you are not part of a bigger arrangement you have to contact Bymose Hegn in advance to check if they have any food available for you – since they are not open as an ala carte.
Facilities
Even though Bymose Hegn is not a luxury hotel they have great facilities!
You can take an early morning swim in the heated swimming pool or enjoy their sauna after a long day exploring the beautiful surroundings.
It´s also possible to rent a mountain bike for 100,- DKK (15 euro) for 3 hours to go explore the forest in the backyard.
Part of something bigger..
The full profits from the fund’s three Hotels, as well as contributions from private, businesses and foundations, are used for their charitable work for families and their children with disabilities. Every year, many hundreds attend family courses and holiday camps for children and young people with and without disabilities. More than 200 unpaid volunteer adults handle the settlement in collaboration with professional instructors. The Pindstrup Foundation was founded in 1971 at the initiative of the scouting movement in Denmark. Princess Benedikte is the patron of the fund.
